Designation Academy is going virtual this year!  The NAA is continuing to provide its members with a diverse range of professional designation courses and other education programs specifically built to help auction professionals specialize while expanding their professional knowledge. Sessions offered:
Accredited Auctioneer Real Estate (AARE)

The professional designation awarded by the NAA Education Institute to qualified real estate auctioneers who meet the educational and experiential requirements of the Institute and who adhere to a strict code of ethics and standards of practice. In order to be designated with the AARE, auctioneer-scholars are required to complete 24 class hours, a detailed written auction summary report, proof of at least 10 real estate auctions, and 24 hours of continuing education every three years. Internet Auction Methods

This seminar begins with a discussion of the fundamental ways internet bidding can be leveraged by the auction method of marketing in the context of goals and desired outcomes. We'll examine types of internet bidding and features of different bidding platforms, as well as pitfalls and advantages surrounding marketing, logistics and law. The second section comprises a deep dive into inventory management and will demonstrate the steps - and shortcuts - to creating a comprehensive item catalog. In the final part, we'll put everything together and look at how the choices auctioneers make when structuring their businesses and practices around internet bidding can impact the success of their events.
