Getting around the city

Streetcars are a charming and convenient way to experience the many areas of New Orleans. Four distinct lines, each originating Downtown, will take you through the French Quarter and beyond to places you might not otherwise get to see. Click here to learn more.

Save with A Jazzy Pass

Streetcars fare is $1.25 and must be paid with exact change when you board. One, three, and 31-day unlimited ride “Jazzy Passes” are also available for $3, $9 and $55 respectively.

See the Regional Transit Authority (RTA)'s website for a list of places to purchase these as well as information about wheelchair accessibility. You can also download the RTA gomobile app and pay your fare instantly from your phone.

Hotel Parking

Parking at the Hilton Riverside is very high. The NAA negotiated rate is $25 per night for self-parking (originally $44.00 for self-parking, garage and $49.00 valet ).

If you have a car to park, there are a couple of options: a) check on pricing around the area for a less expensive parking option; b) park at the airport and take a taxi, UBER or Lyft into the city (costs range from $25 to $40).

New Orleans is an extremely walkable city and you will not need a car to get around, unless you are going outside the city. You can walk or take the streetcar and have a great experience! You can catch the Streetcar outside the main entrance of the Hilton Hotel. Please check the streetcar schedule.
